Book preview: I am arriving
Interviews with famous Russian-speaking travelers
Panoramiсa presents the book “I am arriving: Interviews with famous Russian-speaking travelers” by Ivan Kuznetsov.
It is the first collection of interviews with famous Russian-speaking travelers, published in Russia, as well as in Belarus and in Ukraine, and wherever the language is known.
Attention! Traveling is only half the story. Its heroes are representatives of various professions and hobbies: bloggers, writers, journalists, guides, athletes, scientists, businessmen, photographers and other creatives — but not “ordinary” travelers. They have found their true selves: for them, traveling, creativity and life are synonymous. The questions are answered by Alexander Semyonov, a marine biologist from Moscow State University; Olga Michi, the creator of the Béton Visual Culture Center; Mariusz Wilk, the author of six books about the Russian North; Peter Lovygin, a photographer and video blogger; Marianna Krupnitskaya, a freediver with world records; and more than 20 other characters, including the author of the book. These interviews were first published in the cult media Arrivo in 2015–2017. The book is without pictures, likes, links and banner ads — for thoughtful reading and total zen.
It will appeal to anyone who travels but looks at it broadly — as a movement through life and through people, not to specific places, however beautiful (or cheap) they may be. The book will also be useful to anyone who wants to turn traveling and creativity into a life’s work, to do what they love and make money doing it.
The book will be released in print and digital formats in 2026-2027. Learn more on the book’s page.
